Researcher development stream awards program

Our researcher development awards program strengthens researchers' and clinicians' skills, fosters innovation, supports collaboration, and improves outcomes in dust disease management.

Funding is offered for PhD Scholarships, Post-Doctoral Fellowships, and Clinical Fellowships, supporting research scientists, occupational hygienists, those in occupational health, and clinicians at any stage. These programs foster innovation, build research capacity, promote collaboration, and drive advancements in dust disease management, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Application process

We will only accept submissions that are compliant with the new guidelines and submission protocols. Applicants must complete the relevant application form from the DDC website, adhering to word limits and answering all questions. Include all required information, supporting documents, and prescribed templates. Save the application as one PDF document. The Administering Organisation/Institution must submit the completed form via email to ddcgrants@icare.nsw.gov.au by 4:00 pm AEST on Thursday, 31 October 2024. To reduce your effort in preparing your application, we’ve introduced new guidelines and submission protocols. Late submissions are only accepted under exceptional circumstances communicated in advance.
