In the lead up to the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympics, icare is pleased to share the stories of inspiring athletes who have reached amazing heights after serious injury.

Stuart suffered a spinal cord injury in an accident while cycling to work in 2014. He credits much of his recovery to the opportunities provided to him through icare’s support and his access to adaptive sport.
The Adaptive Movement makes it easy for people to get involved in adaptive sport and recreation and was created for people who want to get more active and want a sport adapted just for them.
