Annabelle shares her passion for adaptive sports
Australian wheelchair basketball player, coach, community volunteer and icare employee Annabelle Lindsay is a passionate advocate for the adaptive sports community.

Annabelle is driven to help others experiencing serious injury and is grateful for the opportunity she gets to do that through her work at icare, a proud partner of Paralympics Australia.
"It was a friend who introduced me to Wheelchair Sports after acquiring my injury, so I'm really passionate about getting involved and spreading the word about adaptive sports," Annabelle said.
"If you know someone living with a disability, encourage them to have a go or come out and watch a game in their local area."
"When I found out I couldn’t play basketball anymore I was really lost and it was so helpful to be able to connect with the world of adaptive sports, which allowed me to be active and reintroduce sport to my life,” said Annabelle.
