"...I have 8 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist working in various specialities including trauma and orthopaedics, vascular surgery and amputations, hand therapy, psychosocial conditions and neurological rehabilitation including traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.

I have provided a wide range of services including Activities of Daily Living and cognitive assessments and retraining, discharge planning, home assessments and minor modifications, equipment prescription and coordination of services. Whilst my experience has been primarily with adults, over the past two years I have worked with children with complex National Disability Insurance Scheme conditions and their families, schools, and support services.

I understand the need for person centred planning, setting short- and long-term goals and using a collaborative approach to help support clients reach their maximum potential. I am committed to being proactive; liaising closely with icare and familiarising myself with My Plans, service requests and how care needs assessments are conducted. I have good organisational skills, strong report writing and clinical reasoning skills and am committed to best practice...."
