About Elizabeth

"Since graduating as a physiotherapist, I have worked in a variety of acute, rehabilitation and community settings. I’ve specialised in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation since January 2007 working as a physiotherapist level 3 and rehabilitation coordinator in an interdisciplinary brain injury rehabilitation team in regional NSW.

I currently provide comprehensive case management services to people with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury. I have a good understanding of the medical and psychological complexities of severe injuries including traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury and am passionate about supporting, motivating and engaging people with compromised self-efficacy. My approach is always client centered, contextual and aimed at enhancing patient recovery and independence.

I was a farmer and cattle breeder prior to becoming a physiotherapist so have some skills in most things “rural” and particularly love adapting rehabilitation programs to the contextual needs of the client to assist those living in rural and regional areas to get back to a meaningful life. I regularly travel to Sydney and the Mid North Coast region so am happy to see people in these regions as well as the Albury Wodonga/Murray region.

Being approved as a case manager for Lifetime Care in 2024, I have a good understanding of both the Lifetime Care and Workers care guidelines and procedures and ensure client’s treatment, rehabilitation and care needs are delivered in a coordinated manner within the relevant schemes’ guidelines."
