Leora Healthcare
Leora Healthcare is a trusted provider of icare, disability, aged care and mental health services.
We are an award-winning and value-driven workplace that focuses on client-centricity, inclusivity and innovation.
ICARE, DISABILITY CARE AND AGED CARE
Founded in 2008 (as Afea Care Services), Leora is an approved service provider of icare, the NDIS and My Aged Care Home Care Packages.
The Leora difference lies in our agile approach to build the best support team around each individual client, whether you have low or high care requirements. Your dedicated Care Coordinator or Care Manager will speak with you personally about your specific circumstances so we can implement the perfect care to suit your needs and interests.
Through our expansive network of support workers, Care Managers and Registered Nurses, we provide exceptional care to thousands of families every week. Our diverse team speaks over 50 languages, which mirrors the culturally rich communities we serve.
For NDIS participants, we provide in-home and community support as well as safe housing in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. We have forged partnerships with specialist disability accommodation (SDA) providers to combine fully accessible housing with reliable 24/7 onsite shared support.
Leora works in accordance with our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certification, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and the Aged Care Commission, so you can be assured our services are effective and compliant with best practices.
Common care services that Leora provides include:
High or Complex Care: We assist clients living with disability or chronic conditions such as acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, diabetes, epilepsy and other physical and neurological ailments. Our skilled and compassionate support workers and Registered Nurses can provide a wide range of services, including PEG feeding and management, medication management, complex bowel care and more.
Personal Care: We can assist you with all aspects of personal care, such as hygiene, dressing, toileting or the use of aids, devices and appliances. We will take careful consideration of your daily routines and personal preferences, ensuring that our support enables your independence and comfort in your own home.
Support for Work or Study: Connecting with activities for work or study is an integral part of a fun and fulfilling life. You may be able to enjoy some activities independently, but if you require assistance, we are here to help.
Domestic Assistance: We’ll lend a helping hand to keep your home tidy and neat. A support worker from Leora can assist you with light housekeeping tasks.
